SARAH SANDERS

HER TIME IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

On July 21, 2017, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer resigned from his position and newly appointed White House Communication Director Anthony Scaramucci (who The Truth Gazette has interviewed) announced that Deputy Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, would assume the position of the President's top spokeswoman...White House Press Secretary. This was not the first time in the recent years Sarah Sanders would have a position change. Previously, she worked on her father's (Mike Huckabee) 2016 Presidential campaign before moving over to the Trump campaign as a Communications Aide. Fast forward three and a half years. President Trump, one day before his 73rd birthday, took to Twitter to break the news that Sarah Sanders will resign, leaving at the end of June, to return to her life in Arkansas.

Many are asking why the White House icon is resigning...I have heard may reasons and explanations. The best one I've heard so far was by her father, Mike Huckabee, who said the following day," I know that many people are disappointed that she’s leaving, but remember: she’s not only held one of the highest-pressure jobs in Washington for two years while raising a family, but prior to that, she was the Deputy Press Secretary, worked on the Trump campaign, and helped run my 2016 campaign. That’s a long time to spend on the political treadmill without a break.".

Sarah Sanders time as Press Secretary began with many hot moments and fiery disputes with the press throughout her tenure and some would say that describes her personality. That is simply not true. I have spoken with several White House staffers and friends who worked with Sarah on a daily basis and every single one of them independently told me that she was the nicest, sweetest, most caring person in the White House. Mrs.Sanders had to wake up every morning preparing for her job of taking care of some toddlers (a.k.a the Fake News Media) that spent their days attacking her for reporting the facts. A perfect example of this was at the White House Corespondents dinner two years ago. Sarah Sanders, attending as the White House Press Secretary, was forced to sit on stage and be attacked vigorously from a so called left wing "comedian" that not only attacked her from a professional stand point, but from a personal one as well.

She was called ever name in the book from the time she stepped up to that podium, to the time she left the “people's house” every night. She deserved none of this. You want to know what I think? I think she deserves an apology. An apology from ever anchor, reporter, corespondent, "comedian”, and Washington pundit who ever stooped so low as to attack a woman standing up for not only her beliefs, but the President’s too.

Some will ask if Sarah Sanders left a mark on the White House? My answer to that....YES! As only the second woman to hold her position, Sarah Sanders represented conservative women all over the world while fighting back against the same lying media that attacks every one of us with a voice...the people of America.

Today, please join me in thanking White House Press Secretary and soon to be Governor of Arkansas (well.....we'll have to wait on that one) for a job well done in the White House. My advice to Mrs.Sanders...take some time off and rest...you deserve it (you’ll need your energy for your next big campaign).
