16 years ago, hijacked planes flew into The Twin Towers around 8:46 in the morning. Later at 9:43am, a third plane flew into the Pentagon. Then 27min. later, passengers took down hijackers on their plane, but then they crashed at 10:10 at a filed in Pennsylvania. In all, 2,996 innocent Americans died on 9/11. In his speech in front of the Pentagon, President Trump said, “The terrorist who attacked us thought they could incite fear and weaken our spirit”. Those were very powerful words President Trump.

If you have been watching the news lately, you should have noticed that a massive hurricane named Hurricane Harvey ripped across the Texas/Louisiana coast. Even with this crisis, communities have come together with one goal, to keep everyone safe. Boys, Girls, Whites, Blacks, Republicans, and Democrats have all come together this week to help their fellow citizens stay safe during and after the storm. Barely any news channels have even discussed anything politically related this week. It is sad that it takes a natural disaster to bring Americans together.
